Getting Started

Just as every journey begins with a small step. I start venturing into the field of writing with this small thought. I consider the phase of getting started as the first challenge faced. We may have many ideas but not every idea get converted into action. I read that, we may get million good ideas a year, but only one of them is excellent and that accentuates into our next activity. This activity needs planning and implementation. Every incident in the activity is interconnected to each other. The ‘result’ is perceived and drafted sometimes in digits or in alphanumeric code. The out come, ‘result’, of the activities planned may not always achieve the desired code. But then a new state is achieved. There are certain situations where the outcome falls much below the set parameters, hence is concluded as a ‘failure’. This starts a series of events including the AAR or WWW, ie After Action Review or What Went Wrong investigation. There are several findings that are noted and shared as information while planning the similar activity next time. The reverse follows when the ‘result’ is far beyond the desired outcome. This state is often termed as ‘Success’ .Though there is still an investigation, but the jubilation around the process creates the difference.

This loop goes on till the activities are required. But the toughest moment is to make a start and make the right estimate. Achilles won every war till he made the right estimate about his enemy’s SWOT. It’s rightly said battles are fought in minds.

So here I begin, looking forward to the vast new avenue, all open to me. There is no set parameter or an alphanumeric code that will define the outcome. I see it as a journey which was bound to happen. I set my small feet and declare it AHOY!

I have always believed that you "DARE to DREAM"......the fair share of your thoughts have made me understand "You cannot dig a hole in a different place by digging the same hole deeper".....You are right, there is nothing as failure ...its just the interpretation of the OUTCOME of the EFFORTS put in for the endeavour......
This EFFORT of yours is Marvelous!!!

I must say that I have always admired your skills of expressing yourself in a unique manner.,. but ur thoughts have a deeper meaning and interpretations that I loved....
This is a marvellous way of expressing yourself... Maybe we can sit one day and discuss this... Cheers

Sincere Thanks to Paromita, Sheetal and Sonia, for not just taking time to read and comment but install me with their faith hence inspiring me to write further. This is definitely a small step taken to begin the journey. As Sonia noted, there would be challenges ahead, but that’s how we grow. I read , we grow only when we conquer our fear. Hence looking forward to conquer every challenge that’s ahead and grow beyond , just as the baby bird dreams to fly as soon as it discovers that it have wings . Keep checking the blog, will post my thoughts soon :)
